…it’s been a while since I had a thoughtful crack at this blog, but two comments from good friends have inspired me, so here goes. It’s been almost a month since I’ve been back from grand travels and it’s all I seem to be able to do to catch up with family, life, the yard and the work stuff. And then there’s the extra bit of Europe that snuck into the country around my middle via insidiously delicious French baguettes and cheese, many plates of pasta in Italy and those smokey-grilley Portuguese restaurants that serve each meal with bread, rice and french fries. Who am I to turn down exotic Portuguese carbs, I ask you?
…not that I had any Portuguese language skills to ask for anything else anyway. Spanish does NOT help one in Portugal. As Tim said, Spanish is to Portuguese as English is to German. It’s true. Anyway, I ate it and I’m glad.
As for the radio, who knows. I have an hour available to me, but I’m wondering if it’s worth it for me. Not sure if more than 5 people ever listen at a time anyway, and let’s just say I’m not the best person at having a regimented schedule. Not that I couldn’t use a little discipline, but maybe I’ll try to find it in exercise and physical activity and work for now. I need to decide though as I’m sure others would like a crack at a show. That, and I have a month in India coming up in December, so I’d be off again and not doing the show anyway. I’ll let you know what happens. Anyway, for today, it’s back to my version of the grindstone. Try and stay cool people. They say it may hit 100 degrees in my little town, and me without my dipping pool….
