A couple of people have asked me what that song was…the Jerry Garcia song “Mountain Song,” and it’s a funny thing. I have friends with many Dead recordings, hardcore tapers, but this disk was a weird thing I acquired near Donner Lake.  The local record store had this disk, some bootleg called “Mountain Songs” that had Jerry, Jorma, Jack and Grace, playing somewhere. It sounds to me like it was someone’s living room.  I have no idea what it is officially.  But you’re welcome to hear/copy it if you get in touch with me and you’re nice.  It’s a pretty cool CD.
